EAE Advanced Game Design (Age 14-17)
Youth Education
It's time to level up! Taking what you previously learned, this class will help you refine your game design skills. With a focus on polish, you will add extra content to your game, like menus, visual effects, and multiple playable characters. Plus we will finally tackle student's most requested additions; custom character models and animations! This course requires previous Game Design knowledge and Unreal Engine experience. Co-sponsored with the U of U's EAE program.
Learning Outcomes:
- Discover advanced systems in Unreal Engine software
- Program higher-level game mechanics
- Practice more fundamentals of game development
- Demo other students' projects to provide constructive feedback
