YAE: Comparative Anatomy Lab (Age 12-14)
Youth Education

Take a hands-on, detailed look at the internal and external characteristics of many different animal groups. Examine and dissect preserved specimen of sponge, hydra, jellyfish, starfish, clam, squid, crayfish, grasshopper, earthworm, perch, frog, and shark. Observe live planaria worms, hermit crabs, and fiddler crabs in action. Activities will also include films, microscope work, and field trips to U of U lab. You even get to take home your very own dissection kit for future studies!
