Club U Summer Camps
Youth Education

Welcome to Club U Summer Camp at the University of Utah!

Founded in 2000, Club U Summer Camp is the place to be for children of all ages and backgrounds to gather and explore the world around them. Through actively creative and innovative educational opportunities found on the University of Utah campus, the campers of Club U come together to find meaning in an ever changing environment.

Club U is much more than just fun and games. We provide opportunities for children to build friendships that will develop and grow. We also strive to instill a sense of lifelong learning using SCIBO. SCIBO is the name of our Club U Mascot (the rubber chicken), but it is also an acronym for our goals for each summer.

As a result of Camp, Club U campers will:

  • S — Improve Specialized Skills in science, art and recreation.
  • C — Explore the university and become more comfortable on Campus.
  • I — Demonstrate the ability to positively Interact with others.
  • B — Develop a sense of Belonging in Club U and at the University.
  • O — Learn about the Outdoor environment and learn to take care of it.

The camp counselors this year were really great. They were fun, kind, friends & make all the difference! The theme was really fun as well :) — C. Brown
