2021 Youth Education Scholarships

As of 2021, scholarships will no longer be awarded for Club U, Campus Camps or Pre-College at the U camps or classes. We hope to be able to offer scholarships again in the future.

Youth Education’s Scholarship Program was created to provide greater access to our ACT Test Preparatory courses. Youth Education understands that the classes can be expensive, therefore our scholarship program is there to support families.

Scholarships will be awarded to families who demonstrate their need for financial assistance. A scholarship committee will review each application and award scholarships based on the completion and quality of the application.

The amount awarded is determined based on a sliding scale dependent on need. However, all families will be responsible to pay a minimum of $44 for ACT Prep courses.

How to Apply – Application and Required Documents

Complete the online application

Note: The application requires a Letter of Recommendation from a school principal, counselor, teacher, or other school official who is not a conflict of interest providing a recommendation.

All submitted information is confidential. Applicants will be notified of award status via email and/or telephone.

*Applications are not considered complete until all supporting materials have been submitted. Scholarships will not be awarded to incomplete applications.

Applying for More than 1 Child

Families with multiple children must submit individual applications. However, one letter of recommendation is acceptable. If submitting one letter of recommendation for multiple children, please specify that in the letter.

Application Dates

Scholarships are accepted year-round for ACT Prep courses. Please allow up to three weeks for your application to be reviewed.

Scholarship Policies – Please read carefully

  • Scholarship funding is limited and is not guaranteed to all applicants. Recipients will be determined based on a combination of clear financial need, as well as quality of responses to application questions.
  • Scholarship recipients have 10 business days to accept the scholarship and register for camp after receiving the award letter. Scholarship award letters will designate the deadline. After the deadline, your scholarship will be awarded to another participant.
  • Scholarships may be retracted at any time due to unresponsiveness of participant/parent/guardian or lack of student attendance.
  • Scholarships can only be used toward classes that are currently available at time of registration. Scholarships will not be awarded retroactively. Do not register for a class hoping to receive a scholarship in the future. The amount awarded is determined based on a sliding scale dependent on need, but all families will be responsible to pay a minimum of $44 for ACT Prep courses.
  • Youth Education Program policies and procedures apply to scholarship recipients, including the drop and refund policy.
  • Scholarship recipients are required to complete post camp survey, and may be asked to participate in Youth Education’s marketing and promotional materials. If surveys are not completed, the participant’s family will be deemed ineligible for future scholarships.
  • By submitting an application, you acknowledge that you understand the scholarship policies and deadlines outlined above.
