Nate started with Youth Education in 2002 as a Club U Counselor. Since that time he also worked as a Club U Camp Coordinator and the Club U Camp Director. Now as the Director of Youth Education, Nate is excited to create opportunities for experiential learning at the University for all kids under the age of 18. Nate has a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from the University of Utah. In his free time he enjoys being outside in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

Elliott Fraughton

Elliott Fraughton Program Manager/Club U Camp Director

Elliott has spent a lifetime in summer camps as both camper and every position imaginable as staff. Since summer 2012, Elliott has brought his experience to Club U camps as Camp Director. Elliott graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelors degree in philosophy, and is now finishing his Masters in Public Administration (MPA). Somewhat like Peter Pan, Elliott is never wanting to grow up and is preserved by the positivity of the summer camp experience as well as the campers and staff of Club U. When not being a camp nerd, Elliott enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his girlfriend and puppy.

Ian Jentzsch

Ian Jentzsch

Ian stared with Youth Education in 2012 as an instructor and has been teaching Graphic Art and Beginning Programming since. In the Summer 2015, he joined the Youth team full time in office, handling student and partner financials. Ian was a film major at the University of Utah but has since moved into the Entertainment Arts & Engineering Program, for his love of video games. Rather than moving to L.A. to "make it" in the film business, he wants to get a job in the Salt Lake Valley in the video game industry.
He lives in West Jordan with his wife (who is a supervising editor for Cosmic Pictures) and their very sleepy corgi, Ike. He has have a Web Design Certificate with Continuing Education, specializing in pure HTML and CSS3 websites. He’s also an amateur graphic designer and a hardcore Xbox achievement hunter.

Jess Seppi

Jess Seppi Program Coordinator

Jess started working with Youth Education as the Youth Education Program Coordinator in 2015. After graduating from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies, Jess went on to work as a naturalist and informal educator, encouraging students to recognize their own abilities as scientists by providing opportunities for students to explore the natural world. Jess brings this experience, along with her enthusiasm for all things science-y and fun to developing unique, authentic, hands-on classes for students at Youth Education. Aside from space, charismatic ice age megafauna, and cat videos, Jess enjoys spending time camping and playing board games with her husband and playing fetch with her cat.
