EMILY SWAN

Emily A. Swan, Ph.D., is an alumnus of the University of Utah (B.S., Speech Communication; B.S., Elementary Education and Teacher Certification; M.Ed., Teaching and Learning Strategies: Literacy Emphasis), as well as a former teacher for the Salt Lake City School District. Dr. Swan received her doctorate degree from the University of Maryland in Human Development and Reading, Educational Psychology, before returning the University of Utah to serve as Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Teaching and Learning in 1998. Her affiliations include The American Education Research Association, The International Reading Association and the National Reading Conference.
