Cooking Basics: The 5 Mother Sauces

Up your cooking game with an experienced culinary artist and educator to guide you. You'll learn all about the five mother sauces and why they are the basis for all classic sauces. Follow along from the comfort of your own home as you learn the steps to complete each sauce, then learn how to cook a variety of meals using them. Each day of class, you'll complete a recipe that utilizes at least two of the mother sauces.

This is an online class. Students should print out the recipes and gather ingredients before class. Students are responsible to supply their own ingredients and basic kitchen materials; find a list online. Special fee is for demonstration materials.
