From a swampy village on the banks of rivers Spree and Havel to Europe’s powerhouse of politics and culture, join us to see Berlin’s checkered past come alive and marvel at this free-spirited, open city of over 180 nationalities now calling it home.

Located in the center of the Cold War, no other city in the world has captured America’s attention in the 20th century like Berlin. We will discover this city, we will call it home, we will venture into the past. After hearing stories of military might, dictatorship, Cold War spies and ordinary lives behind the Iron Curtain, we emerge in today’s Berlin, a vibrant city like no other.
