Travel Dates: March 20-26, 2027

Since 2013, Go Learn has returned to Cuba year after year, building lasting relationships with artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and community leaders across the island. These connections are what make this journey so special. Through years of conversation and cultural exchange, we’ve gained a deeper appreciation for the experiences, creativity, and perspectives that shape everyday life in Cuba. We're pleased to return and reconnect with the people and communities that have been at the heart of this journey for more than a decade.

Join trip leader Al Campbell in spring 2027 as we explore the historic streets of Havana, experience the natural beauty of the Viñales Valley, and learn through conversations, shared experiences, and connections we’ve nurtured for more than a decade. Drawing on more than 30 years of research and experience studying Cuba's economy and political landscape, Campbell provides valuable context that complements the people, places, and stories encountered throughout the journey.

Thanks to our experienced local partners and on-the-ground team, this program is carefully planned and supported throughout, creating opportunities to engage more deeply with the people, communities, and conversations that are at the heart of this trip.

Tour Highlights Include:

  • Explore the historic streets, plazas, and architecture of Old Havana alongside local experts who share personal perspectives on the city's past and present.
  • Journey to the UNESCO-listed Viñales Valley to explore breathtaking landscapes, visit local farms, and learn about rural life and agriculture.
  • Experience Cuba's rich musical heritage through live performances and opportunities to engage with local musicians and cultural organizations.
  • Connect with the people and communities that have welcomed Go Learn travelers for more than a decade.

Life changing trip. I learned so much about regular people and their everyday lives, things you will never see or know unless you GO!"
