I have a Question
We still have a tradition certainly in English television…where the important thing is the quality and the challenging nature of the programming.
KUED and Go Learn are jumping back across the pond in 2020 to scout out more of your favorite PBS film sites. England on Location 2020 starts in London with 2 days of theater, touring, shopping and a very special tour of Churchill’s War Rooms. We then board a train to our favorite landscape in the south of England – Cornwall. We will roam the hills and beaches where Ross and Demelza tred, walk the cobbled, narrow streets of Pt Isaac on the lookout for our favorite grumpy Doctor, tour Highclere Castle and explore the lesser known quaint and lovely Cotswolds region. We have found beautiful country hotels to relax in after fascinating days of exploring the PBS worlds of drama.
We’ve hired our favorite Cornish driver/and local guide to enrich your insight into the making of some of BBC’s most iconic television shows including Poldark and Downton Abbey. KUED’s Alice Webber and Kate Jones will open history with in depth historical discussions and behind the scenes stories of your favorite PBS shows.
