Our journey begins in Dublin, where we’ll explore the legendary halls of learning and neighborhoods marked by revolution. Then it’s on to Cork, with its lively markets and early origins of the Irish Republican Army. Finally, we’ll head west to witness the wild beauty of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands, where you’ll truly get a sense of the Gaelic spirit of Ireland.

Led by Christopher Miller, Assistant Professor for the Honors College, we’ll delve into Ireland’s distinctive culture, expressed through literature, film, drama, and music, exploring how tradition and innovation continue to influence modern Irish identity.
