Join us as we explore the exciting world of PBS' Masterpiece
Travel Dates: April 29-May 8, 2027
PBS Utah and Go Learn are delighted to be heading back to the Yorkshire Dales for On Location 2027! This popular trip is a real “can’t miss” for any Masterpiece fan! We’ll revisit some of our favorites as well as some new experiences that showcase all your favorite PBS shows. If that wasn’t enough of an incentive, $250 will be donated to PBS Utah with every person who signs up for this trip. Supporting your local PBS station and getting to see many of the sites where they film? Yes, please!
Join us as we explore the exciting world of Masterpiece with full days dedicated to some of our favorite shows! We’ll walk the historic streets of Greenwich, York, and Harrogate, explore the world of the Brontë sisters, and visit locations that have appeared in some of Masterpiece’s most popular series. And this year, we’ll be spending even more time in Yorkshire’s beautiful Dales as we devote 2 full days to All Creatures Great and Small.
Once again, our favorite Northerner, PBS Utah’s Kate Jones, will lead in-depth historical discussions and behind-the-scenes stories of some of your favorite PBS shows including Victoria, To Walk Invisible, and All Creatures Great and Small (and there’s even a mysterious connection to Agatha Christie).
This trip includes multiple walking tours of various cities and towns. We may average 5 miles of walking and 100 stairs per day. All group travel is by public transportation (included in the trip price), and participants should be able to board the tube, trains, and buses independently (with luggage). Participants who choose to travel by taxi should plan to make their own arrangements and budget up to $600 in additional expenses, noting that taxis may not be available in certain areas.
