MARK SILCOX

Mark Silcox has been teaching guitar for the last two decades—whether private lessons, small groups, classes or workshops. He teaches over a dozen different styles of playing, in several tunings ( and has performed in over 80 different tunings on the guitar. )
Mark also teaches bass guitar, slide guitar, ukulele and song-writing.

Mark has taught classes in college settings, elementary schools, community education and county recreation groups besides a constant stream of private students. He loves to teach “easy approaches” to learning chords and notes, as well as musical transposition. When he is not teaching, he is either performing or recording, or writing and arranging music.
