HEIDI PREUSS

A native of New Hampshire, Heidi is an Olympic alpine skier who competed in the 1980 games. Skiing brought her to Utah where she completed a BA in Finance at the University of Utah. She went on to explore a PhD in Accounting at the University of Alberta, Canada. Heidi is self-employed so she can find tine to explore her real passions in the outdoors. She hiked the Appalachian Trail one and a half times in a single year and has hiked the John Muir Trail as well as parts of the Pacific Crest Trail in California. In winter, hiking becomes skiing, either nordic or alpine. Geocaching is another of her avid pursuits which dovetails well with her love of the outdoors.
