KATY WILLIS

Katy Amber Willis began her journey with sign painting in Mesa, AZ when she took a position in the sign department at Trader Joe's. A few months later she was offered an artist position at the brand new Salt Lake City location and moved to the beautiful state of Utah. During this time, she taught herself the traditional trade of sign painting with a brush and paint through research and connecting with sign painters both domestic and abroad. She was accepted into the 2013 Craft Lake City festival selling hand-painted signs and shortly after began producing signs for local businesses such as GoodTimes Tattoo and Vive Juicery. Katy enjoys many hobbies such as home brewing, cooking, drawing comics and traveling the world. With a big smile, loud laugh, and a insatiable zest for life, Katy is always on the look-out for opportunities to learn something new and share what she has found.
