Tea is a lifelong passion. You've probably heard the saying, "the more you know, the more you realize you don't know." Tea is no different and I'll never stop learning.

Tea has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It began early with family trips to visit my grandparents in Montreal and we'd enjoy tea and biscuits each night before bed. While in college in Philadelphia, I'd walk over to the local cafe and order an Earl Grey with my egg and cheese bagel. Earl Grey might be everyone's gateway drug!

My passion for tea got turned up a notch when my wife, Becky, and I purchased Tea Zaanti in 2016. I work in the shop full-time and have fully engulfed myself in tea ever since; from taking online classes through the World Tea Academy, attending the World Tea Expo, reading a number of books, watching endless videos and talking tea every day. Learning with and from my customers is the most rewarding part of my work, aside from enjoy my daily cuppa or three.
