MADISON WARNER

Madison started working as veterinary technician in 2011 at what would be considered "family practice" veterinary clinics, then moved on to work in the emergency veterinary clinic. Around the same time she began working with Utah's FEMA search and rescue K9 team and was paired with her own search dog, Tanner, in 2013. Madison and Tanner have traveled all around the United States to train for, and respond to disasters. Through FEMA, Madison has received numerous certifications including the Tactical Canine Casualty Care course (T3C) and ICS0010.a (animals in disasters).
She worked in the human emergency medical field as an EMT-A/firefighter for over 5 years. Combining her experience in human and animal emergency care, Madison created her own curriculum and started teaching pet first aid and CPR in 2018. In addition, Madison has a Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management and enjoys watching soccer, travel and writing or reading science fiction novels.
