QIN LI

Qin Li is a Senior Learning Experience Designer and Researcher working at University Connected Learning (UCL) of the University of Utah. She holds a PhD in Instructional Technology and learning Sciences from Utah State University. She has been working in Higher Ed for more than 1 decade and half to design high quality learning experiences. She is originally from China and is a big fan of authentic Chinese food and cooking. As a life-long learner, Qin is interested in learning about food, improving cooking skills, trying out new recipes embracing rich culture of different cuisines. Cooking delicious meals for her beloved family or friends is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding activities for her. She is very honored to have the opportunity to offer a cooking class though Life-Long Learning department at the University of Utah. She enjoys working with people who are interested in cooking and learning about food. For leisure, she likes singing, skiing, gardening, hiking, foraging for mushrooms and other wild edibles and herbs. She also likes hanging out with their sweet family dog, Buddy, a yellow Labrador.
