Tom Parks has been growing fruit trees and grapevines, and making wine from the grapes, at his home in Holladay since 1987. He moved to Utah in 1978 to join the Neurobiology department at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he did research on brain development and taught neuroscience. He retired from the U in 2016.
