Marianne is a native of Salt Lake City. After leaving the computer industry, she discovered jewelry making. This journey started when she saw her first enamel in a gallery. She immediately knew that's what I wanted to do even though she really didn't know what enameling was. 20+ years later, after much trial and error her work has developed into jewelry that can be considered wearable art. She uses a variety of enameling techniques including: painting with enamel, cloisonne, and plique a jour.
It is due to her passion for enamel that she decided to turn to teaching enameling. She wants to her knowledge and passion by providing tools and instruction to new and seasoned enamellists alike.
What Students are Saying:
"Marianne is a very knowledgeable and pleasant artist that took her time to make sure we got all the information she had planned to teach. Her teaching was super, and I learned so much. Looking forward to other classes."
