¡Hola a todos! I'm Valeria Borbon, a proud Costa Rican who's thrilled to be your Spanish teacher! Two years ago, my husband, our energetic boxer dog Tequila, and I made the leap from the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica to the vibrant life of Salt Lake City.

With a background as a Speech Therapist and English teacher back home, I now dedicate my days to being a Special Education teacher for bilingual middle schoolers here in SLC. I can't wait to share my passion for the Spanish language and culture with all of you!

When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me exploring new places, relaxing at the beach in my beautiful country, trying out different foods, and spending quality time with my family. I'm here to make learning Spanish fun and engaging while introducing you to the magic of Costa Rican culture.

I'm excited to meet all of you and start this journey together. Let's dive into the beautiful world of Spanish and have an amazing time! ¡Pura vida!
