STEVEN STERNFELD

Steven R. Sternfeld has a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology as well as a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southern California. He is currently a Prof. of Linguistics with a joint appointment in the Department of Linguistics and the Department of Languages. He has taught ESL in Western Europe and in the United States, including 1 year at the ESL in 1991. He had also taught French, Spanish and Italian for the Department of Languages. He current teaching focuses on online instruction, cross-cultural communication and L2 teacher training. He has been Director of the Study Abroad Program in Italy and in the Czech Republic.
