WILLIAM GRAY

Biology Professor Emeritus William R. Gray taught at the U for 27 successful years, where he received teaching awards from the College of Science and the Biology Department. Since retiring in 1997, he has developed new tools for identifying our local plants, including interactive CD-Roms with more than 2,500 of his own photographs. Bill has led many wildflower walks for the Great Salt Lake Audubon Society, Save Our Canyons, and the Utah Native Plant Society. He was educated at Cambridge University, England.
