Sharon Spaulding has written for Ms. magazine, Smithsonian.com, New Hampshire Magazine, and others. She specializes in stories about remarkable women who achieved extraordinary things only to be swept from history. Her forthcoming book (Feb. 2026), "Women Make History: Fifty-Three Stories of Courage, Strength & Resilience," is a compilation of biographies published in her monthly newsletter. Sharon enjoys sharing the stories of women on whose shoulders we stand, and leaves others inspired and motivated to stand for their own dreams. Sharon lives in Sandy with her husband and dog, Hank. She previously taught a class for Osher on the women's suffrage movement in the U.S.
