THOMAS ALDER

Thomas M. Alder has an M.A. degree in Art History from the University of Utah, and has had careers in art and finance. He is currently the Community Development Manager for Zions Premier Wealth Management. He owned Alderwood Fine Art (formerly Williams Fine Art). Tom is a trustee of the University of Utah College of Fine Arts and serves on the Utah Arts Council and the Salt Lake County Art Collection board. He has authored columns about early Utah artists for "15 Bytes" (an online art magazine), and is co-authoring a Utah art book entitled Painters of Utah's Mountains and High Plateaus with Drs. Donna Poulton and Vern Swanson.
