ALESSANDRO GALVANI

Alessandro Galvani is a native of Italy. He is an Italian historian, a cultural educator, and an alumnus of the University of Bologna, the world's oldest university. He has a master's degree in education with a minor in the didactics of cultural history. When he visits an exhibition, he cannot resist gently scolding tour guides who show art only as objects, instead of our living present. He studies the historical mistakes we stubbornly repeat while thinking we are smarter than some superstitious medieval peasant. He loves to share how our ancestors courageously improved tolerance, rights, independence, and democracy.
