CANDICE CRAVINS

Candice L. Cravins is an archaeologist and museum professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the John Wesley Powell River History Museum in Green River, Utah. She has been designing and implementing in-person and online educational programs for K-12 students and teachers, undergraduate university students, and adults in university museums in Utah, Texas, and Alabama since 2012. Candice has taught introductory courses in biological anthropology, museums, and museum methods in archaeology for undergraduates in the department of sociology, anthropology, and social work, as well as a course in southeastern archaeology and museums for the Odyssey lifelong learning program, at the University of South Alabama. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from California State University, Bakersfield, and an M.S. in Archaeology and Cultural Resource Management from Utah State University.
