LINDA LAWLESS

A pharmacist by training, Dr. Linda Lawless LaStayo retired from a long career in oncology pharmacy and the biotech world to become a sommelier and a beekeeper. She is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and holds an Advanced Wine Certificate from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. Linda has a wine consulting business called "My Somm Friend" where she conducts wine tastings and wine education sessions via Zoom and in person. Her specialty is making the science of wine fun and approachable. Linda also has a long history of teaching at the university level both at the University of Utah in the College of Health and the University of Washington where she was once awarded "Teacher of the Year" in the School of Pharmacy.
