ANIL CENGIZ

Anil Cengiz is a 3rd year Mathematics Ph.D. student at the University of Utah. He graduated from Pomona College in 2020 with majors in Mathematics and Economics. Anil started playing chess at the age of 10 at his local chess club, and he has not been able to stop since. He has played in numerous national and international chess tournaments in Turkey, where he grew up. Nowadays, he plays a lot of quick chess online to procrastinate working on his mathematics research, and over-the-board at local tournaments and chess clubs with his friends.
