CAROL SUE ANDERSON

Dr. Carol Anderson recently celebrated her twentieth season as Principal Coach of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera (USUO) and has been a member of the music staff at the prestigious Santa Fe Opera each summer since 2002. Dr. Anderson is passionate about audience education, presenting the immensely popular Prelude talks before all Utah Opera performances as well as appearing as a lecturer at the Santa Fe Opera Prelude Dinners. She also co-hosts the USUO Ghostlight Podcast, now in its eighth season, with Jeff Counts, General Manager of the Grand Teton Music Festival. An active performer of chamber music and vocal repertoire, she most recently joined mezzo-soprano Katharine Goeldner in Silenced Voices: Music of the Holocaust, presented by the Wagner Society of Santa Fe. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Anderson holds degrees from the University of Southern California, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and Baylor University.
