Ricardo Di Ceglia is a practicing artist and art educator based in London, with over two decades of experience in painting, drawing, and creative instruction. Originally from Brazil, he holds an MA in Fine Art and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of East London. His practice focuses on life drawing, symbolism, and classical techniques, enriched by philosophical approaches rooted in Aristotle’s principles of form, meaning, and presence. Ricardo has taught at institutions and community projects in both the UK and the US, including workshops at the MAC and ACAVA art centers, and currently leads charcoal drawing classes at the Putney Library in London. These classes explore artistic techniques alongside deeper ideas about perception, representation, and narrative. With a calm, intellectually curious teaching style, Ricardo helps students of all backgrounds engage in meaningful visual expression. His work has been exhibited internationally, including solo and group shows in London, Russia, and the United States. Through art, he invites learners to not only observe but to interpret — blending technique, imagination, and timeless symbolism.
