Liilu Hansen

Liilu Hansen's family is from Denmark, and she speaks Danish and is proficient in other Nordic languages. After 20 years of working and raising a family, she returned to graduate school through the University of Massachusetts Boston to study Scandinavian history. She is passionate about the Viking Age and Medieval history. Liilu founded the Norse Community of Salt Lake City to help Utahns discover and connect with their ancestors that immigrated from Scandinavia. She lives in SLC with her four children and loves yoga, hiking, and cats.
