Sara has more than a decade of experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies in a variety of industries - including recruiting, power sports, real estate, publishing, nonprofits and technology. While her professional experience encompasses events, media relations, merchandising, brand development and market research analysis, her specialty has been online marketing - including web analytics, SEO and, most recently, social and engagement marketing.
Sara began dabbling in social media on a professional level in 2006, and has been engaged in utilizing, writing, speaking, doing and analyzing all things "social media" since. Sara was one of the founding board members of the Salt Lake chapter of the Social Media Club, frequently speaks at academic and community events on engagement marketing in nonprofits and small business and is a moderator of an online community of step-moms.
She currently manages marketing and web analytics for OptumInsight, a healthcare technology company owned by UnitedHealth Group.
