Whether you are planning a board retreat or staff training, Continuing Education has the space to fit your needs.

  • Our newly renovated space is perfectly situated for small meetings, corporate retreats, or staff training
  • Meeting spaces offer onsite A/V equipment and technical business services
  • Meeting rooms are within close proximity to local dining, hotels, and the University of Utah

In order to ensure that classrooms are available for our Continuing Education courses, we cannot release rooms for reservation until after each term date has started:

  • Summer 2024: Room reservations begin Friday, May 24, 2024
  • Fall 2024: Room reservations begin Monday, September 16, 2024
  • Spring 2025: Room reservations begin Monday, February 3, 2025

Room Rental Rates

Room rentals are charged by the half-day or full-day

Hourly rentals are not available. There will be no fee for University partners and University departments – there may be some occasional instances that require a separate decision such as ARUP

For-Profit Organizations

  • Half-day (0-4 hours) - $80
  • Full-day (more than 4 hours, up to 8 max) - $160

Non-Profit Organizations

  • Half-day (0-4 hours) - $60
  • Full-day (more than 4 hours, up to 8 max) - $120
Non Profit organizations will need to submit a copy of their 501(c)3 letter to register@utah.edu in order to receive the Non Profit rate

Additional Fees

  • Audio/Visual: There will be a $60 Audio/Visual flat fee for any group needing to use our system and for initial set-up. Groups outside of the U need to provide their own laptop and cannot use U computers in classrooms.
    • There will be an additional $30/half hour for IT support if needed during the meeting/event.
  • Food/Catering: Catering is available through our onsite food service vendor, U Hungry Cafe. If you use an outside vendor, a $100 set up/clean up fee will be charged.
