Chad Card is a PhD student in Middle East Studies and Arabic at the U. He has spent 7 years as an instructor at many different levels—from Graduate Teaching Assistantships to high school. Chad’s interest in Facebook stems from his years spent abroad: He has lived in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Egypt, Palestine, and China and travelled to numerous other countries. Through his travels, Chad has made many friends, and Facebook allows him to remain in contact with them. He is well-versed in Facebook’s myriad features and in the use of technology in classroom instruction.
