I have always loved being creative and artistic, but it wasn't until my second year of college in an art class that I learned that I wanted to be a pastry Chef. I enrolled in Kendall College in Evanston, IL for their culinary program and finished one year later with a certificate in Professional Baking and Pastry and a certificate in Professional Cookery. I then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend the University of Nevada Las Vegas and received a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts Management. In my professional career I have worked for the Venetian Hotel and The Chocolate Swan in Mandalay Bay as a baker. From there I moved into managing restaurants of which I have worked for Panera Bread Company, Outback Steakhouse, Bear Rock Café, and Paradise Bakery and Café. I have recently stepped out of managing restaurants to work full-time as a Chef/Instructor at The Art Institute of Salt Lake City.
