Instructor: KEN GRAY

KEN GRAY

Chef K.C. Gray is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a A.S. in Culinary Arts and a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Utah. He has been working in the food industry for about ten years. His experience ranges from fine dining to most predominantly catering. Chef Gray is used to preparing food for events ranging from 100-1000 people. His goal as a teacher is to teach students not only the proper cooking techniques but more importantly where food comes from. Our modern day society is disconnected from food production and as such students do not know how food gets onto their plate. Chef Gray’s philosophy in his classroom is to make everything from scratch so that students get a hands-on experience of food production.
