Focus on understanding and developing basic and intermediate skills of tumbling. Students will learn to: understand and perform intermediate tumbling skills; understand principles of tumbling, and; understand the conditioning involved in this sport. Students will learn to do roundoffs, handsprings, back- and front-tucks, and multiple-salto passes.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
Online book and material fees may be added up until the first week of class. Students may opt out during the first two weeks of class. For more information, visit the Campus Store Inclusive Access Program's webpage. If you opt out, you will be responsible for obtaining the course materials yourself for the course.

Requirements: Must have a firm understanding of Gymnastics terms, concepts, body positions and the ability to perform intermediate skills without assistance (ex: round-off, back handspring, front handspring) OR have completed Beginning Gymnastics 1170.
