Pilates Teacher Training 1: Mat Instruction

This course is part one of a four-part series designed to provide a comprehensive education in Pilates instruction, blending theory with practical application to prepare graduates for professional certification. Topics covered through the series include, but are not limited to, the history of Pilates, anatomical knowledge, teaching methodology, class management and practical skills. This part of the series will examine mat instruction extensively.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.

Online book and material fees may be added up until the first week of class. Students may opt out during the first two weeks of class. Class Sections For Pilates Teacher Training 1: Mat Instruction (ESSFC 900)

Spring 2025 Section 2, Starting on: 03/17/2025

This hybrid class will meet in-person in HPR N 118 on the following dates/times for Spring 2025: 3/17 from 6PM-9PM, 3/29 from 9AM-3PM, 4/7 from 6PM-9PM, and 4/19 from 9AM-3PM. Class will meet via Canvas on 3/19 and 4/9 from 6PM-8PM. Students will collect the majority of their required hours on their own time. The last date to drop this class for a full refund is Monday, March 10, 2025.
