This course is part two of a four-part series designed to provide a comprehensive education in Pilates instruction, blending theory with practical application to prepare graduates for professional certification. This part of the series will examine Reformer instruction extensively. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: Reformer I-III, Anatomy II, Classical & Contemporary Reformer Adaptations, Equipment Setup & Safety, continued Sequence & Program Design, Teaching Skills & Professional Practice, Evaluation & Practical Competencies with PMA Core Training Requirements.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.

THIS CLASS IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR TUITION REDUCTION OR EMERITUS DISCOUNTS. Students will collect the majority of required hours on their own time, with in-person instruction taking place in HPR N 118 on 5 select dates: May 8 @ 4pm-7pm; May 9 @ 8am-4pm; June 26 @ 12pm-4pm; June 27 @ 8am-4pm; and June 28 @ 10am-3pm. The last date to drop this class for a full refund is Friday, May 1, 2026. The class is subject to cancel if fewer than 5 students enroll.
