Ally is an embroidery artist, sewer, and graphic designer hailing from Las Cruces, New Mexico. She enjoys taking the things she loves, such as reptiles, scooters, and places near and far, and translating them into stitched designs.
Ally earned a BA in Art History from New Mexico State University and an MA in Design from Joshibi University of Art and Design in Sagamihara, Japan. Ally's work often incorporates Japanese since she also enjoys teaching others this super fun language. Participants in her Hand Embroidery class may learn a word or two!
What Students are Saying:
"Ally was a great instructor. She helped everyone individually to learn new stitches and work on their own projects. Also enjoyed that she curated a music playlist for each class."
