Biology I: Fundamental Principles of Cells, Genetics, and Biochemistry
Academic Noncredit
This course introduces the essential concepts of biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics. Topics include biological macromolecules, mitosis, meiosis, DNA replication, transcription, translation, regulation of gene expression and laws of inheritance.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.
