Spring 2027 Section 1, Starting on: 01/11/2027
Intro to Dance Therapy is a HYBRID course. Classes will be virtual with weekly discussions due. THERE WILL BE THREE IN PERSON, ALL DAY SATURDAY classes 9am-6pm on Saturday February 6th and Saturday March 20th, and 9am-1pm on Saturday April 17th. This course is intended for students who have a beginner/fundamental dance proficiency. This class focuses on the knowledge necessary to develop clinical skills in the use of dance/movement therapy. It develops students' theoretical and practical understanding of body awareness, movement response and interaction as they inform a foundational understanding of dance/movement therapy practice.
