Aikido: Elementary
Academic Noncredit

This course teaches self-defense techniques as a means to develop self-confidence and self-control. It also teaches forward and backward rolls, the first three basic arts of aikido (overhead chop, side chop, lapel chop), mind and body coordination through four basic principles of aikido, and general self-defense techniques.

This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.
