Guest lectures and various workshops highlighting approaches to different yoga disciplines. Open enrollment to ALL who would like to deepen or explore their personal practice. This class is REQUIRED for those in the Yoga Teacher Training program. Enrollment in YTT 1, 2, and 3 can be concurrent a semester, or spread out over semesters. The University of Utah YTT is a Yoga Alliance 200 hour RYT approved program.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
Online book and material fees may be added up until the first week of class. Students may opt out during the first two weeks of class. THIS COURSE IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE U OF U EMPLOYEE TUITION REDUCTION OR EMERITUS DISCOUNT BENEFITS. A more in-depth study of the variety of yoga styles and disciplines one can learn to enhance their personal yoga practice. It is available for all who are interested in learning more about yoga; there are no prereqs but completion of ESSF 57 Beginning Yoga would be beneficial. The majority of these workshops meet online, via Canvas. The partner yoga workshop will meet in person near the end of the semester.
