This course includes both basic human anatomy and physiology along with energy system related anatomy and physiology in reference to chakras, nadis, etc... It also includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice while teaching the student its benefits, contradictions, healthy movement patterns, and modifications for various movements. A portion of this course will be spent applying anatomy and physiology principles to Yoga philosophy. This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
