This course is part two of a four-part series designed to provide a comprehensive education in Pilates instruction, blending theory with practical application to prepare graduates for professional certification. Topics covered through the series include, but are not limited to, the history of Pilates, anatomical knowledge, teaching methodology, class management and practical skills. This part of the series will examine Reformer instruction extensively.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.
Online book and material fees may be added up until the first week of class. Students may opt out during the first two weeks of class. Students will collect the majority of required hours on their own time, with in-person instruction taking place over 2 weekends on the following dates/times: Friday 1/23/26 4PM-7PM; Saturday 1/24/26 9AM-4PM; Sunday 1/25/26 10AM-3PM; Friday 2/27/26 4PM-7PM; Saturday 2/28/26 9AM-4PM; Sunday 3/1/26 10AM-3PM.
