
The course provides students at all level of fluency the opportunity to improve their skills in speaking and listening and to expand their cultural awareness. Presentations by the instructor and invited speakers on topics of cultural interest (e.g. current events, film, art, music, cuisine, business, politics, cross-cultural encounters) will be followed by general discussion and small group conversation. Credit/No Credit. No written work.
This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course. Students can purchase any assigned hardcopy textbooks through our Campus Bookstore.
