This noncredit class meets with a regular University of Utah credit course.

This course will cover snowshoeing techniques in the Utah's Uinta mountains, including winter safety and backcountry travel techniques. Also includes study of recreation management implications associated with snowshoeing in the Uinta mountains. Overnight camping. Class meets on-campus on Nov. 20th only. Attendance at first class is mandatory. Field experience will be from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3.
