LARRY GERLACH

After receiving a BS in education and an MA in history from the University of Nebraska and a PhD in history from Rutgers University, Larry Gerlach taught at the University of Utah from 1968 to 2013, except for one year when he was a fellow at the Institute of Early American History in Williamsburg, Virginia. In addition to teaching college and educator workshop courses on the American Revolution, Larry has published several books and numerous scholarly articles on the subject. He previously taught Osher classes on the American Revolution and the Modern Olympic Games.
